Ozark Folk Festival: 10/7-10/11 Don’t miss the longest running folk music festival in the US! War Eagle Mill Fall Antique Craft Fair: 10/16-10/19  Another great way to view the changing colors of the fall leaves is to drive through the Ozarks to the Annual War Eagle Mill Fall Craft Fair.  Choose from a wide variety of handcrafted products displayed in over 250 booths outside.  The craft fair takes place along the banks of the War Eagle River. Voices from Eureka’s Silent City: 10/17 & 10/18, 10/24 & 10/26  This event has been widely popular and is a great way to see and hear the “living history” of Eureka Springs.  “Heroes, Healers, and Humdingers” will feature actors in period costumes sharing stories of their unique and colorful pasts. This is a one hour walking tour through the cemetery, tours begin at 5:30pm through 8:30pm. Oktoberfest: Saturday, 10/18-If you enjoy micro brews, craft or seasonal beers then join the Eureka Springs Rotary club during the annual Oktoberfest in downtown Eureka Springs.  The party will be right in the middle of downtown on Main Street in between the parking lot of the City Courthouse and the City Auditorium.  Event is from 11am-5pm. www.eurekarotary.org

Mini’s in the Ozarks: 10/23-10/26  Eureka Springs is a popular destination for car lovers, so don’t miss the Arkansas MINI Owners Klub (AMOK!) who will host the region’s largest MINI event in Beautiful Ozarks. Now in its sixth year, MINIs in the Ozarks (MITO) draws MINIs from all over the U.S. to experience the awesome fall scenery and wonderful curvy roads of the region. Mad Hatter’s Ball: Friday, 10/24- If you like to be creative and dress up  then the annual Mad Hatter’s Ball is a fun event for you!  The year will be the 12th annual fundraiser for the Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) at the Crescent Hotel. Howl-O-Ween Party: Saturday, 10/25 – View the Cats in the Dark! Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge stays open at night for this yearly special event.  The main compound is open for the whole family to experience the night habits of lions, tigers, cougars, bobcats, and more. Annual Fall Craft Show at the Pine Mtn.Village: Saturday, 10/25– Great chance to catch regional artists and vendors participate in this weekend event.  Located in Eureka  Springs along highway 62 in the parking lot of Pine Mountain Village.  9am-5pm. Eagle Watch & Fall Foliage Tours at Belle of the Ozarks: 10/1-10/31  Enjoy the cool fall air in October on Beaver Lake with Belle of the Ozarks Eagle Watch tours.  Expert guides will lead a fantastic tour giving you the best glimpses of the bald eagles habitats.
