Hotel Operational Protocols

There has been a dramatic increase in the daily number of new Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations in the state of Arkansas and Carroll County.  In light of these numbers and recognizing their role as a leader in providing responsible travel to Eureka Springs,  the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa and Basin Park Hotel have announced the return of Covid protocols to both hotels.  These are effective Monday, July 19.

The following protocols are now in place:
Mask and sanitation stations have been re-installed at the hotel entranceways as well as Covid warning signs.

Masks are required indoors for:
Managers and Supervisors
Employees in high contact areas:

  • Front Desk and Bellman
  • Spa
  • Ghost Tour Guides
  • Resort Hosts
  • Shuttle Drivers

Masks will be required for guests in the following areas:

  • Spa
  • Shuttle
  • Morgue
  • Any indoor area that has ten or more gatherings for more than 15 minutes

Both hotel lobby spaces will be sanitized nightly by our security team.

Hotels will be restricted to overnight guests and those headed to the outlets (restaurants, spa, ghost tours, Frisco Sporting Club).

  • No tram tours Beginning Monday into the Crescent
  • No Public Restrooms

The hotels will be hosting a vaccination clinic for new employees on Monday, July 26.

These Covid protocol modifications will remain in effect until at least Wednesday,  August 4 when the situation will be re-assessed.
